a g ant from C.D. & W. funds for the main body of the work, and leave the incidence of cost of the preliminary investigations on the Loan Schedule.

We realise that any mɔney expended on this scheme now will not be recoverable subsequently from C.D. & W. funds.

I should be glad to know, as soon as possible, that you approve the expenditure as estimated to cover the personal emoluments of the three engineers we are asked to recruit.
